Setting Up Your Email Account : OUTLOOK EXPRESS

Once we have set up an email account for you on our side, you will need to set up your Outlook Express to receive the mail.

  1. Open Outlook Express and click on 'Tool's in the menu
  2. Choose 'Accounts...'
  3. Click on the 'Mail' tab in the popup window
  4. Click on the button to the right in the popup window labelled 'Add'
  5. Choose 'Mail...'
  6. Type in the name you would like displayed to others when you email them and hit next
  7. Type in your email address, hit next
  8. The incoming mail server should be set to 'POP3'
  9. Incoming mail: type in mail.moov2.com
  10. Outgoing mail (SMTP): type in mail.moov2.com

    Please note: If you have one of the following internet providers, you may have to enter in their SMTP instead. Some Internet Providers make it difficult to send Emails through their dial-ups and broadband unless you use their own logon account details. We've provided a list of the alternative outgoing mailservers to use in this instance.
    BoltBlue:  smtp.boltblue.com
    Orange: smtp.orangehome.co.uk
    BT: mail.btinternet.com
    You may need to also use your internet username and password for the outgoing mail server. Call us for help with this.
  11. Click 'Next'
  12. For your account name, put in the account name provided to you by Moov2.
  13. Enter your password
  14. Make sure the box 'Remember password' is checked
  15. Click 'Next'
  16. Click 'Finish '
  17. Make sure the new email account is highlighted and click ‘Properties’ from the right hand side
  18. Click on the ‘Servers’ tab in the new pop-up window
  19. Tick the box for ‘My server requires authentication’
  20. Click on ‘Settings’ and make sure the ‘Use same settings as my incoming mail server’ is chosen
  21. Click ‘OK’, then ‘Apply’, then ‘OK’ and ‘Close’
