Showcase: Air Industry - Knowledge Management System

Moov2 have recently completed the delivery of a bespoke web based Knowledge Management System (KMS), on the instruction of Blue Dog Productions, a specialised brand communication company who deliver unique solutions for conferences, exhibitions and live events on an international level. The system was developed to aid their involvement and knowledge sharing for an ongoing exercise for one of their pre-eminent air industry clients.

Their client is gearing up under their partnership agreement to support a major international event with which Blue Dog Production’s team are heavily involved in a consultancy capacity. The system needed to be shared between their client and the Blue Dog team, as well as access being granted to various third parties via the system’s user management facility.

The solution allows those users with administration rights to upload a wealth of information surrounding their investigations to a version controlled file archive, maintain project information and share all of this with other members of the project team who can view and download the information pertinent to their role in the project. The system also provides administrable image galleries for global research trips and a contacts database for all of those involved in the project.

The Knowledge Management System is set to be enhanced in the future as the scope of the project widens. Moov2 have enjoyed working with Blue Dog Productions who are clearly a very professional and knowledgeable consultancy in their chosen field and we look forward to aiding the future developments of the project.
