Our client operates a number of significant manufacturing operations in the United Kingdom and around the world, and instructed Moov2 on this a software application development project to produce a system to monitor, report and investigate manufacturing related quality problems within one of their key high volume factories.
The system was managed in a paper-based fashion prior to our instruction, and it was very difficult to maintain and analyse the data captured in order to improve performance and compliance, and share corrective action ideas.

Moov2 developed a custom application to capture the business’ quality data and provided an intuitive reporting application to graphically chart the various key performance indicators identified by management.

The intranet based solution was implemented with a view to reduce production line stoppages and calculated the cost to the business when these stoppages occurred.
As well as providing an overview of problems and their investigations, Moov2 worked with the business’ management to identify the KPIs which would really add value to the investigative function in order to counter problems, remedy troublesome materials being supplied into the production process and reduce the costs of wasted finished products and factory downtime.

The software solution that was delivered by Moov2 to this leading manufacturer was said to have revolutionized the way in which the business operated and streamlined process efficiencies providing our client with a real and measurable return on investment in their software development project.
